Group classes complement your private lessons, because this is where patterns, technique, and style are learned. Group classes also enable you to meet other students with similar dancing goals, develop balance, and learn the mechanics of dancing.
Bachata Dominicana
Bachata is a danceable musical genre from the Dominican Republic, within what is considered urban folklore. It derives from of the rhythm bolero, with influences from other styles such as Cuban son and merengue. The word Bachata denoted an informal gathering where people would gather to drink, eat, dance, play music at a family style sharing in a very joyful manner.
In the classes you will learn about all the rhythms, musicality and fun partnerwork that make you fall in love with this style.
Bachata Urbana/Moderna
As the musical artists started to fuse bachata with other genres such as RnB and reggaeton, it has reached other country and gained popularity. Along this movement the dance style has involved as well. Salsa dancers mixed their turn and hand combinations with the bachata basic step.
In our classes you will learn hand and turn combination that are quick to learn and easy to use in any social.
Bachata Sensual
Bachata Sensual was born in Cádiz more than 15 years ago. Founded and developed by Jorge Escalona (Korke) interpreting the music in an unique and sensual way. He interpreted the instruments with longer movements and isolations, in other words, a higher corporal expression. Without dismissing the origins and keeping the essence of the traditional bachata.
It was not until the arrival of Judith Cordero, a dancer with more than 10 years of experience, when Bachata Sensual rose to the next level, providing to it a more technical and visual style.
